SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF ROLE:

 

The Product Owner is responsible for guiding the global design and development of a specific, priority OneHR Module (i.e., Talent, Recruiting, Employee Central, Learning) implemented to enable AGA Global People Services.  In partnership with AGA Global Process Owners, the Product Owner governs the enabling solutions introduced to our employees to ensure global standards are adhered to and regional requirements are honored.  They collaborate with Regional Support Specialists and Regional Process Administrators to incorporate feedback from end-users and craft an optimal user experience. The Project Owner is accountable for constructing and executing the solutions Roadmap.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

System Configuration:

  • Define Configuration Requirements: Collaborate with Global Process Owners to define module-specific configuration requirements in line with AGA’s business and people strategies.
  • Customization and Integration: Ensure the OneHR module is customized to meet regional and global operational needs and seamlessly integrated with other systems.
  • Data Fields and Workflows: Establish and maintain key data fields, forms, and workflow configurations to support business processes.
  • Compliance Alignment: Ensure that all OneHR module configurations are compliant with regulatory standards, as well as internal security and data policies.

 

System Maintenance & Support:

  • Routine Checks: Perform regular health checks and diagnostics on the OneHR module to ensure it is fully functional.
  • Release Updates: Keep the system up-to-date with the release updates, ensuring compatibility and minimal downtime.
  • Data Integrity: Oversee regular data clean-ups and validation processes to ensure high data quality. Adhere to proper audit controls in place between HR Systems and vendors, future feeds and interfaces to identify data issues and achieve data integrity.
  • Document Changes: Maintain a comprehensive log of system changes, updates, and configurations. Maintain key user guides on SharePoint Knowledge Base.
  • Instance Synchronization: Implement and oversee instance synchronization procedures for the relevant OneHR module. Ensure configuration across landscapes is maintained.
  • Solution Expertise:  Monitor best practices and industry trends; participate in professional associations as well as informal peer networking.

 

Solution Development:

  • Roadmap Creation: In partnership with Global Process Owners, develop a solutions roadmap aligned with AGA’s strategic objectives. Foster good relations with regional and global teams to be viewed as trusted business partner for trends and support.
  • Agile Development: Lead agile development cycles, prioritizing features and improvements based on business impact.
  • Prototype Testing: Oversee the prototyping and testing of new features before full-scale implementation. Develop relationships with key external partners to collaborate on future trends, and best practice methods within the HR environment.
  • Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback mechanism with end-users to continually improve system features.
  • Release Management: Plan and manage the release of new features, ensuring seamless integration and minimal operational impact.
  • Process Excellence: Identify continuous improvement efforts related to HR information systems functionality and capability, integration with other company systems and HR processes and procedures to support a high level of performance for the business.

 

User Experience:

  • User-Centric Design: Advocate for a user-centric design approach in all solution development efforts. Consult and implement services to Key system users (i.e. line managers, HR Administrators, employees, HR Business Partners) to ensure the integration of best practice methods to relevant solutions.
  • Accessibility: Ensure that the system is accessible to all users, taking into consideration language, disabilities, and regional differences.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor user experience through performance metrics and make necessary adjustments.
  • User Testing: Facilitate user testing sessions to gather feedback and make iterative improvements.
  • Key User Training and Onboarding: Develop and implement a key user onboarding and training, focusing on maximizing system adoption and utilization.

 

 

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Systems and Data Management) preferred, or an appropriate Diploma (NQL 5) / SAP SuccessFactors certification / commensurate years of experience in a related role.

 

 

REQUIRED GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in HRIS
  • System implementation experience in the HR area
  • Able to successfully manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience with reporting tools and must understand database concepts/design, SQL, advanced MS Access & Excel with data manipulation and presentation skills.
  • Previous working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors

 

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This is a full-time, exempt.

 

COMPENSATION:

Base Salary Range $135,000 -$145,000
