The Specialist: Materials & Services provides direct output support to the Superintendent: Materials & Services, through establishment and maintenance of effective materials and service master data in support of the Regional Supply Chain.

 

Accountabilities

  • Establishment and maintenance of effective material and service data.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues and errors in SAP system and conducting root cause analysis of data quality issues.
  • Identify opportunities for common supply across company assets.
  • Cleansing and de-duplication of master data as required.
  • Ensure that all new master data field requirements are appropriately captured and aligned to the coding requirements.
  • Other duties as required and assigned by the Superintendent Materials & Services.

 

 About you

Along with these expectations the ideal candidate would ideally possess:

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the Supply Chain and Material Management Process.
  • Experience in creating material and service master’s within the Mining industry advantageous.
  • Experience in utilizing a Master Data Record Management (MDRM) toolset for coding of master data.
  • Sound excel experience and understanding of data verification.
  • Relevant technical experience, as it relates to the coding of technical master data.
  • Sound written and oral, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills and methodical investigation skills.
  • Exposure to Repair/Rotable process.
  • Previous SAP experience essential.
  • Existing permanent working rights in Australia (Mandatory)
