OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
Oversee the planning and execution of the "Cost Leadership Program" to embed data-driven decision-making and financial-operational collaboration across the global business.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Execution: Manage the program workplan, performance metrics, and interdependencies across teams.
- Integration: Oversee design sprints, implementation planning, and change management impacts.
- Governance: Establish program governance, track risks/issues, and manage the project budget.
- Documentation: Develop the AGA Cost Leadership playbook and prepare high-level executive materials.
- Leadership: Support the Program Leader and provide daily guidance to the team to drive execution.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Education & Qualification
- Bachelors degree Finance or Project Management in a relevant discipline.
- Professional PM certification and formal Finance qualifications are highly desirable.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- 10+ years in a similar PMO role, specifically within the mining industry.
- Expertise in Agile/Hybrid methodologies and global project governance.
- Strong background in operational environments and budget management.
- Ability to influence without authority and engage stakeholders across different time zones.
- Proficiency in PM tools and analytical problem-solving.
