The Opportunity

We are seeking a technically outstanding and proactive Superintendent: Resource Evaluation to lead and deliver the Mineral Resource function across our Australian Business Unit

Reporting to the Manager : Geology Technical Services
, this role is both hands-on and leadership-focused: you will directly execute estimation work while leading a small team to deliver high-quality, auditable, and strategically aligned outputs.

As the Competent Person for SEC S-K 1300 and JORC 2012 sign-off, you will ensure the integrity of our public disclosures and resource inventory systems. Your work will underpin our strategic mine planning and growth pipeline.

This is permanent Perth based 5/2 opportunity with site travel when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and oversee all Mineral Resource and inventory models for Australian operations, ensuring compliance with both JORC 2012 and SEC S-K 1300 standards.
  • Act as the Competent Person for Mineral Resource sign-off and public reporting.
  • Apply advanced linear and non-linear estimation techniques, including OK, IK, MIK, UC, and Simulation to complex geological domains.
  • Lead rigorous geological modelling, domaining, classification, and reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and integration of geological inputs across sites and projects.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of resource geologists, building technical capability, fostering technical excellence and ensuring succession readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with geology, planning, and strategic and corporate reporting functions to align inventory with business horizons.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation in estimation workflows, data standards, documentation, and audit-readiness.

About You

You are a highly capable and hands-on technical expert with deep experience in gold resource estimation. You lead by example and thrive on combining strategic impact with practical delivery.  You bring clarity, rigour, and leadership to a critical business function.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in Geology, Geoscience, or Earth Sciences (Post Graduate preferred).
  • Recognised Competent Person (JORC 2012) with the ability to understand and sign off on SEC S-K 1300.
  • Extensive experience in gold resource estimation across open pit and underground operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in linear and non-linear estimation techniques and geostatistics.
  • Expert-level skills in Leapfrog, Vulcan, Isatis, Supervisor, and RCubed.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and operational functions.
