OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

 

Lead the integrity of employment documentation and the strategic design, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS and remuneration frameworks to drive operational excellence, ensuring accurate compensation and compliance with legal and business standards.

 

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Implement best-fit practices across remuneration and HRIS; develop quarterly HRIS roadmaps aligned to fiscal goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in remuneration cycles, including templates and models for salary surveys, wage mandates, and bonuses.
  • Establish and enforce HRIS data integrity, privacy, and compliance controls; lead monthly and quarterly audits.
  • Administer SAP HRIS, governing configuration, security access, and resolution of support tickets.
  • Maintain the HR Intranet with DT and deliver HRIS user training to build digital capability.
  • Validate time and attendance workflows to ensure accurate synchronization with Payroll; deliver timely HR metrics and reporting.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

 

Education & Qualification

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information management, human resource management, or a related degree.

 

Experience

 

  • Minimum of eight years’ experience in an HRIS role with at least three years in a supervisory role.

 

Knowledge & Skills

 

  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations and appreciation of the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843) and Labour Act 2003 (Act 651).
  • Experience in HR database administration and HR systems; conversant with HR business processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Skills in programming, systems analysis and design, database management, and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of access control and time and attendance systems; exposure to MS SQL, Progress, MS Access, Power BI, and Microsoft Reporting Services is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and safety focus; valid Ghanaian Driving License; project management is an advantage.
