Due to an internal offering, we currently seek an NPI Electrical Supervisor to join our Projects team at our Tropicana Gold Mine. Accountable to the Superintendent: Projects & Infrastructure.
This role is based at our Tropicana Gold Mine on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster, where we operate a quick commute and direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.
Accountabilities:
- Supervise the execution of planned / scheduled and reactive work orders for multiple trades
- Lead a medium sized team of various trades
- Assisting with planning of tasks and scoping projects
- Liaising with personnel on safety, performance and technical issues
- Accountable for meeting department KPI’s through the timely execution of daily, weekly and monthly work plans and schedules
- Daily facility and infrastructure inspections towards continuous improvement
- Accountable for maintaining site electrical engineering standards and work practices
- Ensuring team compliance with all company, legislative and statutory regulations in regards to safety and the environment
- Maintaining Inventory, tooling, test equipment, and Stock levels
- Assisting other trades within the team to achieve end user expectations.
About You

- A current A grade WA electrical worker's licence issued under the Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991
- Ability to obtain an in-house Electrical Installing Work Licence (nominee)
- Communicative and approachable leadership style
- Data cabling qualification: Open cabling registration with structured cabling (cat 5 & 6) endorsement. Registered with ACMA
- Proven experience maintaining non-process infrastructure in a remote mining environment
- Commercial laundry, kitchen and catering equipment, fault finding and repair experience
- CMMS experience, preferably SAP
- Basic Microsoft word and excel experience
- A “can do” and proactive attitude
- Current WA C class (manual) drivers licence, MR preferred
- Permanent work rights in Australia
- The ability to obtain National Police Clearance
