We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Asset Integrity Engineer to join our Maintenance team at Tropicana.
Reporting to the Superintendent of Engineering, this role is offered on an 4 days on /3 days off FIFO roster with flights directly to site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie. Other flexible roster arrangements will also be considered.
Accountabilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of engineering activities to the team ensuring the development and execution of asset integrity plans across mining operations.
- Manage integrity systems for critical processing & mining infrastructure, including DG storage tanks, specialised processing infrastructures, concrete civil structures, fixed cranes, and structural assets
- Champion asset integrity projects, driving inspection programs, planning, execution, and remedial works to maintain operational reliability and safety.
- Develop and implement advanced inspection and testing programs aligned with asset management strategies, regulatory requirements, and mining industry best practices.
- Monitor and assure compliance of all plant and infrastructure assets with statutory regulations, industry standards, and company governance frameworks.
- Lead risk assessments for asset integrity, ensuring robust risk management plans are in place to mitigate operational and environmental risks.
- Prepare and manage operational and capital budgets for engineering and asset integrity programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost efficiency.
- Establish, review, and continuously improve integrity and maintenance procedures to guarantee safe, sustainable, and reliable operation of mining equipment and infrastructure.
About You

- Tertiary qualifications in Civil and Structural Engineering is preferred
- Previous experience in plant maintenance and asset management
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge of engineering standards for tanks, piping and structural steel
- Experience in material selection and protective surface coating requirements
- Understanding of condition monitoring and non-destructive testing techniques
- Ability to effectively plan work and manage multiple priorities
- A focus on continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of SAP and CMMS functionality
- A current WA ‘C’ class driver’s license
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Existing and ongoing permanent work rights in Australia are mandatory
