Due to an internal promotion, We are currently seeking an experienced Belt Splicer/ Rubber Liner to join our Maintenance team at Tropicana Mine Site.
Accountable to the Maintenance Superintendent and taking daily direction from the Mechanical Supervisor, this role is based on an 8:6 (Days only) FIFO roster from Perth or Kalgoorlie. Weds to Weds roster.
Accountabilities:
- Commitment to a strong Safety Culture and Hazard reporting
- Adhere to the Maintenance Work Management Process
- Routine inspections and maintenance repairs of conveyor & feeder belt systems
- Rubber lining tasks
- Ad-hoc tasks as required within the Maintenance team
Would consider various trade backgrounds however mining experience within a similar working space is needed.
About You

- Prior experience in a similar role within a multi discipline team
- Hands on experience working in a heavy maintenance environment including mine sites
- Experience in maintaining fixed-plant equipment and assisting Trades with various duties
- Confined Space and Working at Heights ticket, Forklift ticket desirable
- Hold a current WA C class drivers licence
- Pass a pre-employment medical
- Willing to obtain a new National Police Clearance
- Existing and ongoing Permanent work rights in Australia (Mandatory)
