2.1 Role ContextThe ABU is set up to provide strategic direction and guidance for Guinea, Geita, Iduapriem and Obuasi Operational and Capital Projects.
AGA will continue to leverage on technology that delivers efficiencies through use of world class systems that sets the pace for mechanized underground and open pit mining to consistently and sustainably deliver on what we say we will do. 2.2 PurposeSiguiri Gold Mine operates 24/7 medical service facilities at Koron and Heap leach providing health care to over 3000 workers & dependents. This requires the services of clinic services superintendent to support the health manager to ensure effective primary health care delivery.
The role of A driller is a versatile professional who supports the lead driller on site, performing physical and technical tasks such as handling drill rods, preparing and maintaining the site, operating equipment (loaders, forklifts), and strictly adhering to safety regulations for installing water or geothermal drilling equipment. This is an essential role for those starting out in the profession, requiring strength, adaptability, and a good understanding of drilling and mechanical principles.

La Société Anglo Gold Ashanti de Guinée (SAG), filiale du Groupe Anglo Gold Ashanti, recherche en son sein des Assistants de sondage (drilling assistant) au compte du Département des Ressources Minérales. La catégorie socio-professionnelle est AM1.1 selon notre grille salariale actuelle mais elle pourrait être revue à la baisse si les exigences du poste ne sont pas totalement remplies par les candidats(e)s retenu(e)s. Les titulaires seront sous la responsabilité d’un chef d’équipe, géologue ou superviseur.
- Devoirs et responsabilités :
Les titulaires devront être en mesure de :
- Prendre les paramètres de forage (coordonnées, azimut, inclinaison, etc.)
- Signaler ou arrêter les situations dangereuses ou insécurisées et en faire rapport à la hiérarchie au besoin ;
- Organiser des réunions de sécurité avec les équipes de forage (entrepreneur et les équipes du Département MRM) avant le début du forage ;
- Relayer les instructions relatives à la sécurité industrielle au niveau des employés ;
- Coordonner toutes les activités de sondage/forage de manière appropriée ;
- Surveiller la qualité de l'échantillonnage et envoyer des échantillons au laboratoire ;
- S’assurer que la plate-forme de forage est propre avant de passer au point suivant ;
- Partager les progrès du forage à l’aide de moyens de communication appropriés (Radio, Téléphone, WhatsApp…)
- Éviter les coûts inutiles ;
- Maintenir une bonne communication avec les parties prenantes.

- Qualifications et expériences :
- Avoir au moins un diplôme d’enseignement général ou professionnel ;
- Avoir un permis de conduire des véhicules légers
- Savoir utiliser le GPS et la boussole, et lire le plan de forage ;
- Avoir une bonne capacité organisationnelle et un bon leadership ;
- Travailler de façon professionnelle et savoir bien gérer le temps de travail ;
- Capable de travailler dans un environnement multiculturel et sous pression.
