SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF ROLE:
Provides strategic and operational support to major departmental initiatives, including Project Management Office (PMO) Level Support. Work with ESG stakeholder groups to develop engagement plans, facilitating integration of sustainability and responsible sourcing practices into the supply chain management process.
Strategy
- Support and provide management input to Global Supply Chain strategic, organizational, and transformation initiatives, with a focus on delivering growth and increased value delivery to the business.
- PMO Level Management support for Global External Spend Optimization Project.
- Establish program governance, playbook, tracking tools and internal cross-functional linkages.
- Co-create PMO design principles, with external consultant.
- Assist with training and capability development within Supply Chain and operations and meetings.
ESG
- Formally engage with key ESG stakeholders to identify key risks/opportunities/needs, developing annual and longer-term plans for inclusion in Supply Chain roadmap.
- Formulate strategy, approach and process for enhancing local sourcing, business development and sustainability.
- Develop policy and frameworks for local procurement.
- Engage regulatory bodies and industry in local procurement related engagements.
- Lead supplier and enterprise development.
- Liaise with Environmental team under CSCAO and Decarbonization team.
- Develop design of future framework for categorization and triage all requirements in the meantime to meet Compliance and External report requirements.
- Develop a formal Supplier identification, classification and engagement approach to drive environmental initiatives, tracking and reporting thereof, to reduce their Scope three (3) emissions and achieve AGA environmental targets.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on ESG performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking in line with AGA decarbonisation and other ESG goals and targets.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on emerging trends and best practice in Supply Chain ESG.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any identified risks or non-compliance issues.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on responsible sourcing policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or MBA
- 10 years’ experience combined in Supply Chain Operations and one or more of the following:
- Project Management, Management Consulting, Engineering, Environmental, Social, Organizational Design, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Diversity.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong familiarity with contract management across full lifecycle and experience of working in center-led supply chain organizations; mining and/or Oil & Gas preferred.
Leadership & Management Competencies:
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to problem solve in situations with ambiguity/limited information.
- Experience driving initiatives forward by independently developing solutions to challenges/blockers that may arise.
- Ability to facilitate and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Strong leadership skills.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. As per operational requirements.

COMPENSATION:
Base Salary Range $195,000 - $215,000
