The opportunity


This is a 12 month fixed term contract, where you won’t be thrown in at the deep end. This solid team of 4 is packed with recruitment experience. You’ll also be backed by a wider team of HR, Rem, L&D, and talent development professionals, who’ll make your work easier.

You’ll be based in the CBD, a 5-minute walk from the station. You’ll work in a modern office with up-to-date tech. One peek over your desk and you’re met with stunning views across the Swan River.


The job

You won’t just be working with hiring managers. You’ll be learning from them and helping them grow their teams across two of our gold mines – Tropicana and Sunrise Dam. If you don’t have a background in mining, don’t worry.


Every job brief sharpens your knowledge. They’ll help you write and post job ads, know what you’re looking for in pre-screen calls, and who to arrange interviews with. On top of this, you’ll be negotiating offers with people, and arranging their start dates. It’s hands-on, fast-moving, and never dull.


And if somebody asks what you do every day, tell them that you help a global gold company keep its gold mines running at their best. Without you hiring the right people, none of this is possible.


About you


You’ll ideally have a good background in recruitment. Whether that’s trades, engineering, or mining, it doesn’t matter. It’s what you’ll bring to the table that counts.


Some days will be plain sailing. Others, not so. This is where your problem-solving skills will serve you well, as will your ability to jump on the phone and steady the ship. If you’ve used SuccessFactors before, that’s a bonus. If not, we’ll train you.


And you’re happy speaking with people. Lots of people. Every day.
