About the role
We are currently seeking a Talent and Development Specialist to join the wider People and Capability team in our Perth office.
This is an amazing opportunity reporting to the Manager: Talent and Capability; on a full-time,14-month fixed term offering (parental leave cover); to undertake a hands-on support function for the current graduate and vacation employees across our business.
Role Purpose:
The Talent & Development Specialist is accountable for delivering and enhancing key Talent and Development initiatives that build organisational capability, support talent planning, and promote employee wellbeing.
You will play a key role in supporting operational delivery across our early talent programs and will also be accountable for supporting succession planning for our Emerging Professionals and contributing to wellbeing projects that align with our key priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the annual cycle of work for our Graduate and Vacation Student programs
- Support annual review and enhancement of development frameworks and career pathways
- Administer talent pooling and succession planning processes for Early Career and Emerging Professional roles and implement talent engagement initiatives
- Engagement and communications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with business needs
- Continuously improve AGA’s talent and capability processes to promote best practice and ensure business and individual needs are met
About You

To be considered, you will demonstrate,
- Experience held in People and Capability and/or specialisation in Talent and Development operations within the Early Careers and Graduate space
- Prior experience in supporting the design, development and delivery of projects to improve organisational performance
- Strong organisational, administrative and coordination skills along with a high attention to detail
- Advanced skills in MS Office suite
- Tertiary qualification in HR, Organisational Psychology or similar will be highly desirable
- Knowledge of Success Factors or similar systems would be advantageous

This role is full-time, however, AGAA may also consider requests for part-time working arrangements for this role.
