We are now seeking a Specialist: Contracts and Procurement to join our Purchasing team in our Perth CBD office.
 

Accountable to the Procurement Supervisor this role is responsible for providing end to end procurement expertise to assist Company stakeholders to plan, develop, source and manage commercial arrangements to effectively meet organisational standards and objectives.


This is a Perth based role with occasional site travel required.
 

Accountabilities:
 

  • Purchase and expedite materials, equipment and services following established purchasing policies and procedures and optimizes price, delivery and terms
  • Identify cost-competitive and reliable suppliers and issue requests for quotations, leveraging RFQ opportunities and supplied capabilities
  • Ensure correct costing of materials
  • Provide advice, information, training and guidance on procurement related matters to all Company stakeholders ensuring governance and best practice procurement is demonstrable
  • Identify, mitigate and/or escalate procurement risk to ensure the Company meets all obligations while maximising business opportunity

  • Prior experience in a Purchasing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems

  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Existing and ongoing permanent working rights in Australia
