We are currently seeking an experienced, site-based Site Travel Administrator to join our Business Support & Services team at our Tropicana Gold Mine. This role reports to the Site Lead: Administration. The purpose of this role is to provide a professional and efficient travel and accommodation service for AngloGold Ashanti employees and stakeholders.

 

This role is based at our Tropicana Gold Mine on a full-time, 4 days on / 3 days off FIFO roster, with some ad hoc 8/6 swings at various times throughout the year to assist with leave coverage. We operate a quick, direct flight to site from Perth.

 

About the role

 

  • Coordinating site entry, travel, and accommodation services for all departmental personnel, including flight and bus schedules
  • Providing effective handover notes, document control, and team coverage
  • Efficiently and accurately entering data into travel booking systems
  • Processing and reconciling travel and accommodation payments
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly audits
  • Managing room bookings and shutdown travel processing
  • Communicating travel information effectively
  • Maintaining and updating various site screening checks and compliance
  • Providing support for site-wide use of InFlight
  • Completing ad hoc tasks as directed.

 

About you

  • A high level of competence in INX software, including InFlight configuration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience in a similar role with travel and customer service responsibilities in a team environment
  • Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining confidentiality of information
  • Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met
  • Strong communication skills with peers, leaders, and contractors
  • Current manual WA driver’s licence
  • Ability to obtain a new National Police Clearance
  • Existing and ongoing permanent work rights in Australia (mandatory)
