We are currently seeking an Operator Maintainer: Processing to join our Processing Operations team. Reporting to the Supervisor: Operations Processing, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the fines crushing plant circuit while supporting fixed plant maintenance activities to maximise plant availability in a sustainable and cost-effective manner.
This position plays a key role in supporting both the Operations and Maintenance teams to achieve safety, reliability, and production targets across the fines crushing plant circuit, including the processing plant. This role is offered on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster, with direct flights provided to site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.
About the Role
- Operate and maintain the fines crushing plant circuit safely and efficiently to achieve production targets
- Monitor plant performance including conveyors, crushers and screens
- Support maintenance activities across the fine crushing plant circuit
- Work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to minimise downtime
- Assist in improving plant reliability and equipment availability
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Use systems such as SAP to support operational and maintenance activities
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and site standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
About You

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in mining or a similar processing environment, including previous experience operating mobile crushing equipment
- Experience working with mineral processing or automated industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced processing environment
- Current Work at Heights and Confined Space Entry competencies
- Current WA Manual Driver’s Licence
- Loader and Skid Steer operating experience
- Crane, Forklift, EWP, or Dogging competencies preferred
- Existing permanent working rights in Australia
