The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Process Technicians to join our Processing Operations team at our Tropicana Gold Mine. Reporting to the Supervisor: Operations Processing, you will operate designated fixed plant infrastructure and equipment in a safe, reliable, efficient and sustainable manner.
This role is offered on an 8/6 FIFO roster, with direct flights provided to site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.
About the Role
- Full management and effective operation of the processing circuits which includes operation of the Crushing, Grinding, CIL, Elution, Tailings and Control Room sections of the Processing Plant.
- Monitor plant performance including conveyors, crushers and screens
- Support maintenance activities across the fine crushing plant circuit
- Work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to minimise downtime
- Assist in improving plant reliability and equipment availability
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and site standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
About You

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in operating gold processing fixed plant
- Knowledge and experience with Crushing, Screening and Conveying, Grinding and Milling, CIL, Elution, and Tailing Storage Facilities
- Exposure to process control and SCADA systems
- Experience in using a computerised ERP system, preferably SAP
- Intermediate skills in MS Office
- Competent to operate a Front-End and Skid Steer Loaders
- Competence to operate small mobile equipment
- A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement
