THE OPPORTUNITY 

 

The Graduate Trainee, Talent Acquisition Operations & Administration is an entry-level professional development role designed to build foundational expertise in global recruitment operations, data management, and candidate coordination. Working under the direct guidance of the Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Trainee will provide vital day-to-day administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of the recruitment lifecycle.

 

This immersive program serves as a practical learning platform, enabling a highly organized and analytical graduate to transition from academic theory to corporate execution. By supporting critical Talent Acquisition projects and managing essential onboarding workflows, the Trainee will master enterprise-grade HR technology and develop the foundational capability required for a progressive career in Human Resources.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

    • Maintain and update recruitment information on the OneHR Recruiting platform, ensuring real-time accuracy of candidate statuses and compliance records.
    • Assist in generating recruitment reports and system data to track key performance metrics (such as Time-to-Fill and source effectiveness) across our operating sites.
    • Support recruiters in building structured talent pools within SuccessFactors for future hiring needs.
    • Conduct initial resume screenings to identify qualified applicants for further review.
    • Assist recruiters in performing initial phone screenings or basic evaluation calls for entry-level and high-volume roles.
    • Help organize and set up digital assessment centers or group interviews as required.
    • Schedule interviews (virtual via MS Teams and face-to-face) across multiple regional sites and time zones.
    • Manage calendar invites for candidates and busy hiring panels, ensuring all necessary links, interview guides, and resumes are available.
    • Provide proactive support on key Talent Acquisition projects (such as employer branding initiatives, system optimization trials, or regional recruitment campaigns).
    • Assist in preparing pre-employment paperwork, coordinating background checks, and tracking onboarding readiness.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED & EXPERIENCE

 

To qualify for the Africa Business Unit Graduate Trainee Programme, applicants MUST:

  • be a Ghanaian citizen
  • have graduated between 2022 and 2024
  • have completed their mandatory National Service and possess a valid National Service certificate
  • eligible applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (HR Option), Psychology, Sociology, or related Social Science disciplines.
  • be comfortable navigating complex HR systems; prior exposure to SAP SuccessFactors or similar enterprise-grade systems is a strong advantage.
  • have essential for scheduling across time zones, and tracking sensitive candidate data.
  • have absolute integrity and the ability to handle highly confidential personal data.

 

Period of Training:

  • Two (2) years
