Objective 

 

This role provides services to all information workers and is pivotal to AGA company productivity and success.
The scope of accountability will include all aspects relating to network Infrastructure build specification, configuration, development of the regional infrastructure plans and roadmaps, service management, risk mitigation and alignment with the Global DT strategy for area of accountability.

 

Education & Qualifications

 

Degree in Operational Technology related fields.

 

 

Experience

 

  • 7+ years in an operational technology environment, in operation management role
  • Understanding and experience in managing OT related LAN networks
  • Understanding of OT related networks, technologies and challenges from a mine site perspective – preferred
  • Appreciation for cyber security and the impact on the OT environment

 

Technical Knowledge & Skills

 

  • Strong change and configuration management background
  • Proven project leadership experience and team leadership experience
  • Experience building, scaling & monitoring relating to services in area of accountability.
  • Must have experience working with a globally distributed business
  • Strong Leadership and team building skills
  • Desire to drive continuous improvement, with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience creating and managing an annual budget
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work both with a team or independently
  • Experience working with diverse communities and groups
  • Customer Service-oriented apprach to adding business value and managing risk
  • Pragmatic team player, able to support multiple stakeholders
  • Accept accountability and providing transparency to stakeholders
  • Facilitation, Negotiation & Problem Resolution Skills:

  • Experience as a project leader
  • Must be able to be responsive when business priorities dictate, occasionally at inconvenient times
  • Very strong experience leading and managing suppliers and associated contracts

Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Design and implement Operational processes and SOP’s
  • Co-Manage vendor SLAs
  • Manage Incidents/Requests/Changes/Problem/Config/Capacity/Event etc.
  • Manage annual Service Improvements
  • Manage Risk including addressing risk findings with Cyber Security teams
  • Manage and maintain AS-IS documentation
  • Manage the delivery of remote service support teams to all regions globally
  • Ensures and support adherence to all site controls and audit findings pertaining to infrastructure matters isattended to timeously
  • Work with regions to address Disaster Recovery and backup requirements, Optimize current Infrastructure and Licensing Investments to reduce DT Infrastructure spend in area ofaccountability.
  • Address Operational Infrastructure Risks in area of accountability.
  • Drives Infrastructure standardization and alignment to best practices where relevant
  • Manages and owns infrastructure and project budget.
  • Manages and mitigates onsite Infrastructure related risks and influences onsite budgets.
  • Building of Life cycle roadmaps (1 to 3 year rolling cycles)
