Objective of the role 

The incumbent will provide regional user support, training, change management, access provisions, data quality and testing of changes or enhancements for BAU and projects.

Education & Qualifications

Technical or commerce related degree with SAP ECC (preferably SAP Materials Management (MM) and SAP Ariba certification.

General Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum 7-10 years’ business experience in supply chain technology and demonstrated proficiency.
• Intimate understanding of the supply chain processes (e.g., source to contract, source to pay, all workflows, logistics, inventory, warehousing and all governance steps)
• Advanced application is required in supply chain systems i.e. SAP ECC and SAP Ariba
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Cross-Functional Awareness
• Change management and training skills
• Strong business acumen

Role Accountabilities

• Own end user incidents and requests throughout the value chain process – from logging at the service desk to resolution.
• Act as the conduit between business and the digital technology team.
• Assist with 'troubleshooting' and understanding of incidents that need to be escalated for further support, where required.
• Provides functional business requirements for system changes, where required.
• Escalate user incidents to the appropriate levels of support within digital technology for resolution.
• Fulfil end user requests for access to e.g. oneERP/Ariba systems.
• Monitor and maintain user access requirements aligned to governance and compliance requirements e.g. SOX and GIA
• Monitor end-user activity and identify trends and propose technology related business improvements.
• Identify business changes that may impact technology changes and log these for resolution.
• Identify gaps where business processes are not effectively supported by the technology and log these for resolution.
• Ensure data integrity is maintained and assist with data quality management.
• Assist with data extracts for the purposes of reporting.
• Monthly, quarterly reporting for area of responsibility e.g. incident management / user support / testing / training / improvements / access monitoring
• Perform User-Acceptance testing as an input into the final approval for system changes, both BAU and projects.
• Change management when new systems functionality is introduced.
• Coaching and training end-users, both new and existing.
• Ensure that all changes or enhancements are aligned to the overall supply chain strategy and strategic objectives

Remuneration

As per the AGA salary scales.
