The AGA Africa Business Unit is seeking  self-motivated persons to join our Graduate Trainee Programme for our Human Resources Department.

 

As a Graduate Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in various HR functions and contribute to creating a positive work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate who is eager to learn and grow within the Human Resource field and have completed their National Service Program.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Help organize employee engagement and development activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including preparing reports and handling correspondence.
  • Participate in performance management processes and employee relations initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment and IDE activities.
  • Bringing positive energy into the team and forming lasting professional relationships with employees.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and team-building events.
  • Take notes on experiences and keep a log of things learned.
  • Compile reports and make presentations where possible.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Honours degree in Human Resources or Humanities with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to live by AGA Values 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent research abilities and a willingness to grow.
  • Time management
  • Creative problem solving
  • A positive attitude and a growth mindset.
  • MS office suite
